Unlimited Hitting
24/7
Complete Details Below.
Purpose
Welcome to Cage Time, where players enjoy cage access 24/7.
Our mission is to help players become better hitters; this goes beyond providing high-caliber pitching machines and unlimited hitting programs.
By design, Cage Time is comprised of a single private hitting tunnel. This privacy enhances player focus which is crucial in early development.
If your player is struggling to hit the fastball, they don’t need other players watching their struggle. Our private facility aims to keep morale high while players work through the kinks.
Amenities
Pro Line 3
In addition to live toss, Cage Time offers members the best equipment available.
The Pro Line 3 throws any pitch from any angle. The 3-wheel design provides better contact with the ball for better pitch control.
Baseballs 40 - 100 MPH
Softballs 36 - 90 MPH
Adjustable for all ages.
Two Machines, Every Cage
Each Cage Time location features two Rawlings Pro Line 3 machines: one baseball, one softball.
Why two machines in a single cage? So our members never have to switch from baseball to softball. Saves time and gets your player more swings.
The easy to use digital control panel allows the user to set pitch speed, curve direction, and curve amount. The individual wheel speeds are set automatically by the machine, making the Pro Line 3 one of the most user friendly, high calibur machines on the market .
Cage Layout
Cage Time’s private tunnels are ideal for player focus. Additionally, we acknowledge the importance of hitting from regulation distances. All Cage Time locations feature regulation distances for all ages of softball, as well as baseball ages 5U - 11U. For baseball players that hit from 60’ 6” (12U+), Cage Time XL locations accomodate full length cages.
Smart Turf ™
Cage Time’s Patent Pending Smart Turf design features a baseball and softball lane, each laser-aligned with the corresponding pitching machine. Within each hitting lane, home plates are painted on the turf, each displaying the distance (in feet) to the pitching machine. Our Smart Turf design eliminates the need for members to measure distances, reducing cage set-up time by several minutes. Smart Turf means more swings.
24/7 Member Access
Cage Time offers 24/7 access via keyless door entry. Each member receives a unique 6 digit code which is connected to the customer database. When a Member has a Cage Time booked, their pin number will unlock the door. The pin number only works when an appointment is booked. If you lose your code, simply log into your account and request a new code. Our software will send you a new one via email and text message within a matter of seconds.
No Instructors
Because Cage Time does not offer instruction, all peak and off-peak time slots are available for member bookings. NOTE: Cage Time is not a replacement of your regular (full size) training facility; rather, compliments as a low-cost and convenient way to access hitting and pitching facilities in a private setting. We encourage our members to use Cage Time in combination with full-size facilities, as well as continuing their lessons with private instructors.
No Distractions
Cage Time is a private facility, enabling a single player to be the focus of the session. Additionally, you won’t find a tv, radio, video games or concessions at Cage Time. Absent the above, only one thing left to do.
Commitment
To become a better hitter, players need to hit year-round.
Although Cage Time memberships do not require a term-contract, we ask all members to honor a 12-month commitment.
“So I’m locked in for 12 months?”
NO - Cage Time’s 12-month commitment is on the honor system.
Baseball & Softball facilities come and go - we’ve all seen it happen. More often than not, this is due to inconsistent revenue during off-peak months. Automatic monthly billing combined with our members’ pledge of a 12-month commitment enables Cage Time to overcome off-season challenges.

Not Born.

FAQs
How many times can I hit each month?
With the exception of our Off-Peak Memberships, there’s no set limit to the number of times you can hit in a given day, week, or month; this will depend on your availability, along with the Cage Time you’re seeking. One of our main goals is to bring exceptional value to our members, ensuring each receives ample opportunities to hit each month. With the average rate for batting cage rental being around $25 per half hour, Cage Time members can expect to save 50-75%, as compared to pay-as-go programs.
How long is each Cage Time booking?
Each slot is 30 minutes, which includes 5 minutes for cage set up and 5 minutes for cage clean up. With 20 minutes of hitting, the average player will get approximately 100-125 swings.
Do I have to sign up for a membership?
Yes, Cage Time operates strictly on the membership model and does not offer a pay-as-you-go option (outside of the annual paid-in-full).
What’s the difference between Cage Time & Cage Time XL?
Cage Time locations feature pitching & hitting distances up to 50’. Cage Time XL locations accommodate pitching & hitting distances of 60’ 6”. Both Cage Time & Cage Time XL locations offer baseball and softball pitching machines.
Does my membership work at all locations?
Yes. Cage Time memberships can be used at any Cage Time location; this includes both Cage Time & Cage Time XL facilities.
How does the billing work?
The membership is billed to your card automatically each month. Our online interface is very user-friendly and members have access to their account 24/7. Our secure member portal operates on an encrypted network that is PCI compliant and secure.
Am I locked into a term contract?
No. Although we ask our members to honor a 12-month commitment, we do not require you to sign a term contract. If the need arises and you cannot honor the 12-month commitment, cancelation is permitted with no penalty.
If I cancel my membership, can I reactivate it at a later date?
Maybe. In order to ensure our members receive exceptional value (compared to pay-as-you-go cages), the number of memberships available is extremely limited. Once the program is at its maximum capacity, membership is closed and the waiting list is created. If you cancel and want to return, you may have to wait for a spot to open up. Additionally, members who cancel prior to the end of their 12-month commitment are required to pay a $49 re-enrollment fee (upon rejoining).
Can I upgrade/downgrade my membership?
Downgrade, yes. Upgrade, maybe - it depends if the program is on a waiting list. Remember, the algorithm that controls the Cage Time schedule will only allow a certain number of memberships. Once you downgrade your membership, this will open up a booking which will then be given to a new member from the waiting list. When the facility is on a waiting list, members who want to upgrade need to make their request by joining the waiting list (below).
Do you offer instruction?
No. In our experience, instructors require premium time slots, which is not cohesive with the Cage Time model. Our premium time slots are reserved solely for member bookings. If you have an instructor that would like to attend your session, that is permitted under our terms of use.
How does each booking work?
Visit mycagetime.com and click “book a cage”. Next, arrive at the front door 5 minutes prior to your booking and enter your pin code. Once you enter the facility, cage clean-up will be underway (the previous booking has 5 minutes to get the balls picked up). Once the previous group has exited, enter the cage and place the ball catcher behind the appropriate home plate that corresponds with either the baseball or softball machine, as well as the proper distance for your player’s age group. Next, flip on the machine and set the desired speed and pitch type. After a few seconds, the machine will be up to speed and a test pitch can be sent. Once you have the machine firing strikes, the player can enter the cage and begin swinging. With total cage set up taking less than 5 minutes, and total cage clean up taking about 5 minutes, each session includes at least 20 minutes of swing time. More than enough for a quality workout.
Will Cage Time teach me how to use the pitching machines?
Yes. During the week prior to the grand opening, Cage Time will provide 10 training sessions; each member is required to attend at least one of these sessions. During the 20 minute training, you (and other members) will receive instruction on the machines, as well as facility overviews. Additionally, instructional tutorials can be found in the video section at mycagetime.com/video
Do you offer baseball & softball?
Yes, the cage is set up for both baseball and softball (the machines do not need to be changed, just adjusted). To save you time, Cage Time’s patent-pending Smart Turf Design has the home plates displayed on the turf, eliminating the need to measure the distance from the machine. This saves you time and allows the player to get more swings.
How can you offer unlimited hitting so cheap?
Cage Time incorporates key technology solutions that enable us to operate with a limited number of employees. Additionally, unlike other facilities that have thousands of square feet, Cage Time is small - just one cage per location. Last but not least, the commitment of our members is a key factor to keeping the cost low. Whereas many facilities experience seasonal revenue, Cage Time’s revenue is spread out over the entire year. Because of this, our facility does not have to increase the price during the busiest months in order to cover the shortfall of the slow months. The end result is lower prices on a more consistent basis.
Is there an option for teams?
Yes. The most popular option is for each player to become a Gold member, at which point, team practices can be coordinated. For example;
Assuming everyone on a 12 player team becomes a Gold member ($25/mo), the team collectively has twelve 30-minute bookings that can be held at any given time. Most commonly, coaches will break this into 2-hour practices (requiring 4 of the teams 12 bookings). Under this scenario, 4 players from the team would book a 2-hour block (practice #1), then another 4 players would book a second 2-hour block (practice #2), and finally, the last 4 players would book a third 2-hour block (practice #3). Effectively, the team has three 2-hour practices scheduled. Once practice #1 is complete, that group of players books another block (practice #4).
Because of our unique model, this can occur as frequently as your schedule allows; meaning, each 2-hour practice could be a few days apart - it does not have to be separated by “a week” unless you want it to be.
For players that want to hit outside of team practices, our Platinum membership is a good choice. The Platinum membership allows 2 bookings to be held at any given time, thus, the player can book a practice slot for their team schedule, and also has a private booking to use throughout the month.
*Because Cage Time features a single private tunnel, we recommend team practices are broken into sections (players 1-3 hit during the first 30 minutes, then group 2, 3, and then 4.) Effectively, parents and players can be finished with hitting practice in about 30 minutes.
How does the 24-hour access work?
Upon purchasing a membership, each member receives a 6 digit pin number. (This code is unique to your membership.) When you have a Cage Time booked, simply show up 5 minutes prior and enter your pin on the door keypad; this will unlock the door. NOTE: Pin numbers only work 5 minutes prior to the time booked and during the subsequent 30 minute period. If you do not have a time booked, your pin number will not open the door. Because pin numbers only work when the customer has an appointment, Cage Time software knows who’s in the facility at all times.
